A new 2 story, 46,000-square-foot community wellness and fitness facility that includes gymnasiums, aerobics rooms, a 25-meter pool, and a suspended indoor track. A cardiovascular training area is located at the second floor beneath a pyramid skylight overlooking the central reception desk. Additional spaces include administrative offices, child supervision rooms, multipurpose rooms with kitchenettes for community meetings, a lounge, men's and women's locker rooms, and private changing areas and toilets for patrons requiring assistance. The Wellness and Recreation Center is the first component of a master-planned, 60-acre campus that includes a magnet school and a medical office building.
